Buying Mirrors Online — Frequently Asked Questions
Classy Mirrors started its business online in 2004. We have shipped thousands of mirrors to homes and businesses throughout the United States. Our parent company is Heritage Gifts & Collectibles, LLC a registered Florida Limited Liability Company. Sales tax is only collected on orders shipped to Florida. -Most orders ship within two weeks of your order date. Many will ship the next day or within days of your order. Some mirrors are premade and ready to ship and some are made to order thus the difference. Large mirrors that ship by freight truck can take a bit longer to deliver including those shipped via White Glove Carrier. If there will be a delay or your item is out of stock we will contact you to let you know when to expect your order to ship. If you are ordering several mirrors they may arrive at different times as mirrors ship directly from the manufacturer and several manufactures may be handling your order. Please contact us if you have a deadline to meet for a delivery and we will work to expedite your order. -When you place your order rest assured that your credit card information and privacy are secure. Roll your cursor over the red triangle in the right corner or click it and you will see our credentials and site verification. -Our return policy is listed here. -We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. -If you have a question you can reach us via the Contact Us tab. Please have the item number available. Often it is quicker to use contact form than phoning as sometimes we will need to check with the manufacturer to answer your question. We prefer that you use the contact form but our phone number is listed as well if you would like to talk to a customer service representative. -Please make sure that you have ordered the right size mirror. We list the outer dimensions for each mirror. Please contact us if you need the size of the mirror glass. -If your mirror is damaged in transit we will replace it at no cost to you. -Mirror manufacturers add new mirrors and discontinue or drop mirrors usually twice a year. We have had disappointed customers who contacted us after they could not find a mirror from an earlier visit to our website only to discover that the mirror was discontinued.
Q. When you give the dimensions of a mirror are they the inside mirror glass size or the outside of the frame. A. The dimensions given are the outer dimensions of the frame.
Q. Can I order a mirror in a custom size? A. Yes, select mirrors can be made in any custom size. Please check the custom mirrors category.
Q. My order has been in processing for a while. How long does it take to process an order? A. We ship directly from the manufacturers warehouses to minimize stress on the mirrors. We often receive notification of mirrors being shipped after you receive your mirror. Orders will remain in processing until you receive your mirror.
Q. How do I ensure a mirror will be the right size for my wall? A. There are a few ways to check the scale of the mirror for the intended location. One customer marked off the dimensions of the mirror with painters tape to see how the size looked in the location. Another customer taped together newspaper and then cut it to the size of the mirror and taped it on their wall. It is always best to check the size of the mirror on the wall. We provide the outer dimensions of each mirror for this purpose.
Q. Will the mirror be exactly the same color as it appears on the website? A. Due to the variable displays and settings on computer monitors we cannot guarantee that what your monitor displays will exactly match the mirrors finish.
Q. Can I hang a rectangular mirror “lengthwise, horizontally or landscape”? A. Mostly yes, the mirrors come with D-rings attached so you can hang the mirror either vertically or horizontally. There are some exceptions so please use the contact form and we will check for you if that is a consideration.
Q. I like a particular mirror but would like it in another finish can you do that? A. At this time each mirror is limited to the finish shown.
Q. Do you have a catalog? A. Classy Mirrors is an Internet only retailer. We do not have paper catalogs only our website.
Q. How are your mirrors shipped? A. The size of the mirror and its packaging dictates the shipping method. UPS/FedEx will only accept packages to a certain size and above that the mirror must ship motor freight. Our manufacturers are experts at packaging and shipping mirrors.
Q. Is white glove delivery service available? A. Yes, Please click here for information.
Q. What is motor freight shipping and curbside delivery? A. Motor freight means your mirror is put on a pallet and placed onto a truck. There is no other way to deliver a large mirror. The pallet protects the mirror and insures that nothing is placed on top.
Curbside Delivery provides delivery made to the end of your driveway. It is not the driver's responsibility to bring freight into house, garage, etc. Drivers do not assist with unpacking, set-up or clean up. Inspect the box for external damage, remove the packaging and inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver. If there is any damage, visible or not, you must indicate such on the delivery receipt. When you sign the delivery ticket and do not note any damage, the merchandise becomes your property. The trucking company will contact you to arrange delivery at a convenient time. (Please enter a valid phone # when placing your order) We have shipped hundreds of mirrors to our customers’ houses and rarely have a problem with this method of shipping. If you have additional questions please give us a call.
